MANAGEMENT BODY OF PRESPA NATIONAL PARK
ΦΟΡΕΑΣ ΔΙΑΧΕΙΡΙΣΗΣ ΕΘΝΙΚΟΥ ΠΑΡΚΟΥ ΠΡΕΣΠΩΝ
The Management Body (ΜΒ) of Prespa National Park was established in 2002 with the law 3044/2002, it is a legal entity governed by private law, supervised by the Ministry of Environment and Energy and is based in the Greek Prespa in the village Agios Germanos.
The MBPNP is managed by a Board and is responsible for the protection, preservation, the management and the promotion of the National Park.
Core activities of the MBPNP:
-Wardening of the National Park,
-The operation of the 3 Information Centers in the villages Agios Germanos, Pili and Vrondero,
-Management of the wetland of Lesser Prespa
